I have raced sailing boats professionally for over 10 years. Competed in two America's Cup events in 2000 and 2003 and coached in 2007. I was ranked as high as No4 in the World Match Race Rankings and won numerous events including the Bermuda Gold Cup. More here. I also commentate on sailing, most regularly for the World Match Racing Tour but recently for the Extreme 40s and I was lead Colour Commentator for the 2007 America's Cup for US Network Versus and in 2009 for the America's Cup World Feed. AC 33 1st Race Video Here
It has also always been important for me to keep my entrepreneurial spirit active. I am part owner of Toolkit Websites with my brother. With 12 staff and over 1200 clients we strive to provide a cost effective solution for small business to get online. I worked for 2 years regenerating a declining shipyard in Portsmouth Trafalgar Wharf, helping fill the Superyacht facility, sign up commercial partners to run the 1,250tonne ship lift and help bring the site up to a clean efficient working yard it is today.
I founded and subsequently sold Marine Resources a successful marine recruitment company in Southampton. I have most recently invested in a UK solar panel company Metgen.
